My husband and I stayed at Sunnybeck with our 18 month old in August. The cottage is located in giggleswick, a 15 minute walk from settle (faster without kids!). The village itself is quaint with two really wonderful pubs, the most child-friendly I have ever been in. The Craven Arms staff couldn't have been more friendly and the food was superb. The Harts Head was a great pub too.
Settle is on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park and is a great base if you also want to do some sightseeing in Skipton and Ingleton.
Now, the cottage itself - it is very modern and extremely clean and well kept. It is very quiet and just a stones throw away from a great play area if you have kids. The owner is very welcoming and answered our many questions during our stay. A hamper was left for us on arrival which was lovely. The kitchen is unbelievable! Super modern and stylish.
If I had to have a grumble it would be the curtains were quite light which made it tricky getting the little one to sleep and there weren't any drawers in the master bedroom.
I would highly recommend staying here and would love to do so again myself the future.
