Visited on recommendations and wish we didn't. The Sunday roast dinners were a massive disappoint. They serve frozen roast potatoes, many still cold in the middle. Tasteless unseasoned vegtables and listless flavourless meat. The only bright point was the chippolata which tasted lovely. The gravy while was watery and full of vegetable water flecks. Two crumbles were ordered and these were satisfactory but nothing special, the chocolate brownie however was delicious but having to continually swipe away flies really dampened the mood even more. To be honest I won't be revisiting and would advise to avoid.

First time here, got lost from the car park around back, perhaps some signage. Once found beer selection was usual fare, I tried Camden lager which I found refreshing. Slight winge more expensive than where I live in Kent but I suppose it's because it's isolated. Overall not bad.

We left after speaking to management. Was told in a rural location at harvest time and with piggery nearby it was inevitable despite pest control use. Such a pity as this quaint house offers a very wide menu and had been recommended. It spoilt our celebration of my brother in law's 81st birthday.
