Traditional roasts plus special dishes are available for the perfect Sunday lunch and special dietary requests are catered for with prior notice. This can be seen in our seasonally changing menu and our Specials Board. Our pastry chef produces those homely classic puddings such as Bread & Butter Pudding, Treacle Tart, Apple Crumble, Sticky Toffee Pudding topped of course with traditional custard or local ice cream. Alternatively you could try a classic sundae and the list goes on for all those with a sweet tooth. Thank you for your review of The Lodge Inn Restaurant. We are pleased to read that you enjoyed our menu variety and children’s facilities.

We do have a daily changing specials board which usually includes a few additional fish dishes, currently we have local Mussels, traditional fish & chips and rare tuna steak on the main menu and tonight’s specials feature fishcakes and scallops as starter options and baked skate wing and a duo of mullet and bass as main courses. We insist on usually quality ingredients and suppliers and all of our food is freshly prepared so this does come at a £££.

We very much look forward to welcoming you back to The Lodge again soon.

Yours sincerely,

“Just what we were looking for!”
Reviewed February 11, 2013 via mobile

We received a warm welcome when we arrived and were invited to have a drink in the bar or go to our table if we preferred. We had a drink in the bar, which is quite lively and pretty busy as you would expect on a Saturday night. The restaurant was quieter and the service attentive. All four of us really enjoyed our meals. We have eaten in quite a few restaurants in this part of Norfolk and we would say this is our favourite so far. We will go back for sure!

“what a find!”
Reviewed February 6, 2013

We discovered the lodge on one of our walks and now visit regularly. Lots of space to sit, with menu catering for everyone. Busy on Sunday with lunches. We were there on a week day in very cold weather and sat by a roaring fire eating potted shrimps and chunky chips. Heaven!

I had a piece of Brill that was 'brill', my friend had a lamb shank that was delicious. We had a seat fairly close to the log burner and had a fab evening.

“Fab place to chill out, relax & be looked after!”
Reviewed January 23, 2013

First visit to this great place. Will return!
Modern yet homely, we met friends here after a long journey on a chilly winter day & enjoyed delicious coffee & hot chocolate.
After a freezing walk on the beach we spent the rest of the day here, relaxing & enjoying the atmosphere, ending a great day with a fantastic meal - exciting menu, quality food, highly recommend!
The Lodge is certainly very welcoming & family friendly. We have a 4 month old baby & were most impressed with the baby change facilities. They were immaculately clean, spacious & well equipped, with wipes & nappy bags being a useful touch.
If these facilities are anything to go by, imagine the accommodation is top notch too!
