If you are looking for a spacious and quiet location just 15 mins drive from Canterbury, you cant go wrong with this property.
The owner is welcoming without being intrusive. Our room, the Schoolroom, was quite luxurious, with a king size bed, a stunning peaceful outlook, a bathroom not too close to the bed, comfortable pillows and a small fridge if you need to keep tablets or a drink chilled. There is a beautiful horse in the paddock outside the large windows.
A full English breakfast is offered with cereals also. Quaint little pubs with plenty of atmosphere offering dinner within a 5 minute drive, with meals starting from 9pounds50. You can have a drink with the locals and feel welcomed.
Great experience all round!

We enjoyed a one night stay here to escape the kids and life in general really. The location is very tranquil and the rooms are absolutely immaculate and the bed was extremely comfortable. We used the pool which is a lovely added bonus and as the weather was gorgeous we then sat in the garden enjoying the sun. Breakfast was delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed sharing the experience at the large table that all the guests share and it was really nice too when Fiona joined us for a cuppa and a chat. We will certainly be returning when we need an escape to enjoy it all over again.
Thanks Fiona and Mark for letting us enjoy your beautify home.

Had a great stay, couldn't have been better. Excellent accomodation, breakfast and perfectly located for accessing historic Canterbury, interesting quaint villages around the North Downs, a beautiful part of Kent.

Couldn’t have been better! My young son and I stayed one night and were welcomed from arrival to departure. The room, the twin beds, the cotton sheets, the hot water, the bath, the shower, the double-glazing, the balcony, the view at the back with a beautiful horse to watch and a small lake, the plentiful breakfast, and great people ... could hardly have asked for more. If we were only passing by that way again we’d want to call in to say hello.

Room tip: Only saw one of them, but can't imagine that there'd be much disadvantage to any of their rooms.

My daughter and I had a very memorable stay here. The location is perfect if you want to visit various locations in Kent. We visited Whitstable, Sandwich, Hern Bay, Canterbury and the beautiful village of Chillam itself. The owners are absolutely charming, making us very welcome and giving advice about the area. We will definitely stay again, we had the Kingfisher room which was just perfect, as was the breakfast.
