We stayed in the Regency Villas as part of my dad's time share membership.
The villas are very spacious and are decorated to a good standard with central heating. They provide a DVD player and TV.
The main house itself was lovely to look around and anyone staying there should definitely go on the House and Garden tour. However, I am glad we were staying in the villas as the self catering facilities in the rooms was poor and the restaurant only provides dinner and bar lunches. The cream tea served here does not use Clotted cream and I would recommend the pub down the raoad, The Jackdaw, for a much nicer one for the same price. The food in the restaurant was a bit of a let down for me but maybe I like the simpler things in life!
It is also a shame that you have to pay £2.50 for each daily trip to the pool. This area could really be upgraded with a jacuzzi and steam room! Whether you have to pay if you stay in the hotel I do not know.
As previously mentioned by others, I really think that Wifi is a must in hotels these days when you can get it for free in local pubs. We could not get it at all in the villas.
All in all though it was a lovely week even in the snow!

We booked a "chalet". And we got offered more. From the outside you are not blown away, once you open the door...you are. We did not expect so much space (but to be accurate we got a chalet with disabled persons accessibility, so perhaps the lodge was bigger, perhaps not, I cannot compare), 3TVs, DVD player, 1 large bathroom ( and 1 bathroom for disabled persons), dito toilets, excellent bedrooms and an overload of pillows. Washing machine, dishwasher, tumbledryer, if you have the urge to iron, no problem, everything provided. Fully equipped kitchen, and when I say fully, I do mean fully. Large windows, big curtains, litter bins (recycling) next to the lodge, radio with i-pod station, ...
We had a nice treat : it snowed. Nice, especially for the kids of course, but mum and dad also saw the negative side, but not for long.
Not long before someone came by to clear the paths, entrances etc.,everal times. 24h watch is provided as well, and parking space for every lodge nearby.
We had access to swimming pool and fitness area, bar etc(in the castle). Let's not forget to mention the friendly staff!! Someone came by the first morning to see if everything was OK? YES:)
Only one negative point: the large bathroom could not be sufficently heated with the one radiator for towels (All the other rooms were)

We used our Diamond resorts points to stay here and had a great week. The weather was dry apart from brief showers 1 day but it was cold .We were ok as attired properly. I was however amazed to see the resort being offered to general public from£49 per night online when we paid a substantial sum for our points and a substantial sum each year in maintenance fees.

We stayed here in one of the lodges over Christmas with my future in-laws who had actually booked it. The lodges are great. Fairly spacious, immacutely clean and modern, but very homely feeling. A short walk (about 3 minutes) down to the main house to the bar and restaurant etc, but you could quite easily not emerge from your lodge the entire time you're there with everything you would need to be a recluse. In fact, we liked it so much, we're going back in March.

Our Christmas day lunch was lovely and we couldn't fault the staff at all. So, we hope to try the restaurant one evening again this time round. Can't wait! Beautiful surroundings, peace and quiet. Just what we need to banish the New Year's blues.

After having managed to find a great deal online to stay at Broome Park, we were already looking forward to our stay, however it was even better than we had anticipated. The staff were so friendly, helpful and made us feel welcome.
We had used public transport to get to the resort and after carrying our bags down the quite long main drive to the main reception in the house, the lady on reception offered us a lift on a golf type buggy to our lodge in which we were staying. Our key card did not work on arrival so the lady went back to the main desk and re-programmed it and was back within minutes - the service was fantastic.
We ate in the restaurant on the first night of our stay (pie night) and the food and atmosphere was fantastic and we felt it was worth the money too. We used the games room, pool and sauna too and felt these were brilliant little 'extras' for our stay which we enjoyed using.
Overall, the staff, our accomodation (2 bed self catering lodge), the food and the facilities were excellent. It's a little outside Canterbury, but with a bus stop with regular service from Canterbury Bus Station right on the front driveway, connection to the city is not an issue at all. A day rider on the bus was worth the money and this is how we got about each day.
Many thanks to the staff at Broome Park for an excellent visit! We hope to return in the future.

We stayed here for the weekend just before Christmas and it was fantastic.
I was very impressed by the traditional decor and attention to detail. You just do not get the character in new properties.
Yes it was a little way out of Canterbury, if you think 8 mins is a long drive, but to stay in an English Manor, set in its own grounds, to have total peace and relaxation was wonderful.
I would suggest if you want to be closer to town book travel lodge.
The room we had was a studio suite, it was massive with windows on 3 sides, views over the golf course at the front, Italian Gardens at the side. A huge ensuite bigger than allot of normal hotel rooms and a great big lounge area to sit in and watch the flat screen TV or listen to some music.
I will be hard pushed to find another room to match this and have already booked to go back.
I really can not say enough about the room, the resort or the staff, if you want to treat yourselfe you wont be dissapointed.

Room Tip: Ask for a suite in the main building, we had one at the front and got the whole of the middle floor...
