I Googled 'Dog friendly inns or pubs near Cromer' and this place looked nice so rang them and they really welcomed dogs, they also offered 10% discount to National Trust members. (Plenty of NT places to visit locally) Found the place with no problems, warm and friendly and several people in the bar with their dogs. Room and bathroom, tho not large, were exceptionally nice and clean - recently refurbished. 5 Minute walk to cliff top, then 5 minutes down onto the beach (Quite a steep walk down but hand rail all the way) 2 mile walk into Cromer along the beach, fantastic cup of coffee at the Lifeboat Restaurant then 2 mile walk back either along the beach or if the tide is in then back along the cliff top path. The most welcome suprise was the fantastic food at the pub, you can eat in the bar, where dogs are allowed or in the small restaurant, book to ensure a table especially for Sunday lunch, as the place is obviously very popular. The food and its presentation were exceptional. Already planning another weekend there soon and needless to say the dog also loved it! Can highly recommend the place.
