I stayed 2 nights for business. Rooms and Spa were good! Rooms defintely above average in Serbia! Food is aweful - truely! Bar closes early and afterwards your only option is roomservice - strange indeed. The Conference facility was ok - but the coffee breaks were not worth it.

I stayed one night for a work conference - the suite was spacious and comfortable although the actual bedroom was not much bigger than the queen-sized bed and I was disappointed that there was no TV in the bedroom and no bathtub (although the shower stall was large and had both an overhead "rain" type showerhead and a hand-held one. The bed was very firm but the room dark and silent.

The buffets at dinner and breakfast had huge selection, although mixed quality (I found the schnitzel nearly inedible, but the fish was excellent) and the restaurant was nearly empty when we were there on a February weekday, so the food clearly sat out for a long time. Despite the restaurant being nearly empty, it took ages to get drinks. Our seved lunch was much better in terms of both service and food quality.

The spa area has a large swimming pool, jacuzzi, several heated pools, and a baby pool, as well as four or five different saunas and regular spa services like massages. I'd go back again in the winter for the spa and warm pools, and might try out the outdoor waterpark in the summer.

The conference facilities were comfortable and service at reception was professional and quick.

We spent two days in Izvor for a small conference. The facilities were OK. Buffet dinner was far below expectations. There was a great selection, but the quality was mediocre. The seated lunch was somewhat better but still not great. The spa was fine. The bar closed incredibly early. my room on the other hand was spacious and comfortable. Overall OK - but below its reputation.

My wife have a please to won prize-spa weekend at this Hotel. You can expect extremely cultural and professional staff services. I was little bit disappointed with two bedroom equipment and food quality for 5 star hotel. From my point of view they have to improve these items in order to became real high quality hotel. I expected a little bit higher quality comparable to price they require for. Besides that wellness and spa is excellent, clean and quite comfortable.

We stayed here for two days in December, for the first time, and we were very much surprised by the quality of accomodation and service. We usually don't expect too much from SPA locations in Serbia and we thought that this is going to be an overpriced dissapointment. However, this turned out to be a very comfortable hotel, with great food and even better pool and SPA facilities. The decoration is a bit kitchy and/or dark, but it all kind of fits with the idea of reproductions of famous 19-20th century paintings by Serbian artist in the hotel lobby.

We (a family of three) slept in a superior room, overlooking the aqua park, so it was very quiet. Next time (and there will certainly be a next time, probably in the spring), we will ask for park view, as they say that's even better (when there are leaves on the trees, of course..)

My only remark is that the price is a bit on the high side, as we spent EUR 250 for two days (one night)without any massages. I know that this is a five-star hotel, but this is too expensive for Serbia

Room Tip: if you're travelling with a child, we recommend the superior room, they are like smaller suites

My wife and i were here in September for 4 days, and on some points it felt like a let down, but on others it was great. Of course, in consideration that they call themselves a 5 star hotel...

The Bad:
It's really tacky and expensive for a hotel that has a problem with flushing toilets. They told us they had a vegetarian menu, but not also they had none, the stuff that we could eat was "yesterdayish" and pretty much if you wanted to have a tomato salad or corn salad you should first find the chef and ask him personally is there meat in it because they tend to forget to label the ingredients in dishes.
Do you know any 5 star hotel that would put a grill right next to an open pool bar? If you didn't, you do now! You can't have a coctail there without inhailing it with your every breath...
Massages were expensive and not very good.

The Great:
First of all, i would like to praise the staff, because they feel like you're in a 10 star hotel. The most surprising thing in Serbia, really... They are the nicest staff from all places i've been!
The music they play in the entire hotel was beautiful and relaxing, and the hotel is so clean you feel like you can eat right of the floor.

Of course, it's all to your taste in the end, but for that kind of money (plus gas) i will take my "spa vacation" in Slovenia next time...

It was my second time to spend great 2-day break in Hotel Izvor. I have spent relaxing weekend with my family and everything was ok, not perfect but very close to it. The hotel staff is nice, food is average and spa is good. My son really enjoyed the pools and playgrounds. The hotel is somewhere between 4 and 5 star, and staff is young and need to learn yet... But you will find friendly and warm atmosphere, for sure.
