“Lovely cottage in central location”
Reviewed May 30, 2018 for a stay in May 2018

I feel the photos don't do this property justice. Lovely, quaint cottage. Clean and with new carpets throughout. Gorgeous little village and within walking distance of the coast. Wine, biscuits and milk were very much appreciated.

Very nice but be aware - not easy to find if relying on Satnav; only one bathroom;busy and noisy main road and expensive for what it is.

This is a wonderful little cottage and a great holiday base. On first sight i was worried it would be to small but soon realised there was a lot more to the cottage than at first appeared. Lovely modern kitchen with all the equipment you could need. Sparkling clean bathroom and fabulous little 'library corner'. Nice comfortable living room with ample heating (this was the english summer after all). Great master bedroom second room a little cramped but perfectly comfortable. It even had another loo upstairs. The owner was very friendly on meeting and very very helpfull when i belatedly realised i should have brought bedding and towels. Bottle of wine, chocolates and a card on arrival. The pub accross the road is very nice and doesnot cause any noise. The traffic in the daytime is a bit noisy but at night theres hardly anything at all. Would recommend this property.

“wonderful lovely comfy only one slight downside”

we have stayed here three times now and have loved it every time. the only slight downside is that it can be a bit noisy as it is on the main road through the village but that is more than offset by the fantastically centralised location for exploring north norfolk and as a holiday home you could wish for nothing more. i especially love the fully loaded bookcase and comfy chair and lighting in the recess between the gorgeous kitchen and cosy living room . this is a lovely cottage and i would recommend it to anyone although it is not wheelchair friendly and if, like me, you walk with a stick, the stairs are a little narrow and steep.
