“Quality ingredients and cooking”

Simple food cooked very very well using good quality ingredients.
A real find.
The egg florentine is just perfect.
Definately not a greasy spoon.
Vegetarians well catered for.

“A great little find - lunch, cream tea and dinner!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 13, 2012

We were staying at a camp site in West Runton and having read previous good reviews on Tripadvisor about this cafe we popped in for some lunch.
We both had a lovely toasted sandwich (mine with a fried egg on top - which was delicious) and on the way out decided that we would have to come back later that day for a cream tea!
Being the fatties that we are, we did return after a day lazing on the beach and had some delicious fruit scones with jam, cream and tea for two.
The lady who served us was lovely and it transpired that they open on a Friday and Saturday evening for dinner. Unfortunately, Friday was already booked-up, so we booked for the Saturday. Again, we weren't disappointed. The home cooked food was delicious, the chap who served us was friendly and attentive and the price was very reasonable. You can even bring your own bottle of wine along to have with your meal, which obviously keeps costs down.
This is a great little cafe/bistro and they have got everything right - friendly service, a small menu with homecooked fresh ingredients and good value! We'll be back!

“Walked Out!”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 11, 2012

We went in for breakfast and after listening to the waitress moan about the children on the next table touching things, dared to ask for a change in the menu. Instead of poached egg with a hollandiase sauce I wanted one without, my daughter wanted some bacon with her pancakes - it wasn't on the menu though all the ingredients were! After refusing these requests and saying the menu was there for a reason and they might get busy (we were one of the two tables occupied) we walked out

“Well worth another visit!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 24, 2012

My daughter and i are both coeliacs and were very excited to find such a good choice on the menu. We both enjoyed a delicious gluten-free cooked breakfast, complete with gluten free toast. It was such a relief to be able to eat out with confidence and for my daughter to be able to eat a gluten-free version of what everyone else is eating. We will definitely be returning, especially as we were too full for a dessert and they sounded delicious!

“Best local Bistro on the Norfolk coast”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 7, 2012

We found this welcoming and well situated cafe/bistro to offer a variety of foods catering to almost all dietary requirements, including Gluten-free, Vegetarian, Vegan and Dairy-free. The food is tasty, well presented and ingredients are locally sourced where possible. The service is second to none, always a smile to be found and a good chinwag about the nearby goings on. Clementines also bakes cakes to specification and created a beautiful 'Belle' cake for our daughter's 2nd birthday party which looked and tasted absolutely divine. We have popped in several times for tea and cake, and have sampled the cheese scones and Millionaire's Slice which are both to die for. Definitely the best local Bistro on the Norfolk coast, without a doubt, so if you're visiting for the day or a permanent resident would highly recommend giving it a try. You won't be disappointed.
