We ate here on a Monday evening in October. It was quiet but in fairness it was out of season. It is an attractive pub and we have seen it quite busy outside in the Summer
The food was nice and acceptable for a weekday meal. I had Whitebait starter and my husband had the pate while we followed with homemade steak and ale pie which came accompanied by plenty of vegetables, although nice this main course was a bit expensive at £11 . With a bottle of wine @ £15.50 our meal came to £50.
We found staff to be pleasant and would eat here again if in the area.
