We have just returned from a five day stay at this wonderful B & B. Pat and Bill made us feel very welcome in their beautiful home. Nothing was to much trouble and their hospitality was second to none. We will certainly return for another enjoyable stay.
The room we had was immaculate with our own on-suite, plenty of clean towels etc.
Pat`s breakfast was perfect and we were given lots of variety, she is a great cook, especially, her cakes and biscuits.
The outside area was so peaceful and relaxing with stunning views.
Thanks again Pat and Bill.
We will be back soon.

I had promised Pat and Bill we would return and so I kept my word! It was like visiting with old friends, albeit ones who bring you tea and cake!

Booking was very easy as Pat remembered us and our preferences. She even managed to arrange for a surprise for my husband; bottle of wine chilling in our room, two wine glasses and a box of homemade truffles on the house. We took Room 1 again, and just as before it was spotless, luxurious comfort. We had a lovely sleep, and I had to ask Pat again where the linens were from because I must have them. As we stayed during a bit of an unseasonal heat wave, we took full advantage of the natural swimming pond on our first evening. We borrowed the lilos and had a lovely float around while finishing off the wine. Heaven.

It was so nice to come back from our visits to Holkham Hall, Holt and the beach at Wells (with the heat drawing the crowds) to the quiet calm of Longview. We saw a lot more of the village, browsed the Chocolate Deli, and visited the Shrine finally. The evening was spent "down the pub" and a pleasant, warm walk back to the peace of the B&B.

The stay once again surpassed all expectations, and the bar had been set pretty high thanks to our previous visit. The breakfasts were simply divine and (dare I say it?) even better than last time.

I believe this may become an annual trip for us, as the value is absolutely unbeatable and the hospitality second-to-none.

We spent one night at Longview B&B, what a find, a beautiful restful place made more special by the welcome from Pat and Bill. Pat provided a welcoming cuppa with a wonderful mini Victoria sponge cake, which we had in their lovely peaceful garden, sat by the pool. The room was immaculate with soft towels and toiletries and the bed was really comfortable. We were lucky enough to have Pat's wonderful breakfast outside by the pool, a real treat. Pat and Bill do welcome you into their home and make you feel like friends rather than B&B guests. Keep up the painting Bill!!

I was genuinely sad to leave Longview this morning after a very restful couple of nights with my boyfriend. I think Pat and Bill have struck the perfect balance with their B&B - we really enjoyed chatting over Pat's stonking breakfasts but equally appreciated the privacy we had. It was my first time in Norfolk and feel very lucky to have experienced such a beautiful place...if you're in need of tranquility, just spend a few minutes in Bill and Pat's garden! Culinary highlights included French toast, smoked salmon and scrambled eggs and the SCRUMMY cakes Pat gave us as we left.

We're so pleased that your very first visit to North Norfolk was to Longview and that you had a wonderful, relaxing time. Glad you enjoyed the food too! ps I'm sure you could squeeze a little wildflower meadow into a corner of your garden!

This place should be renamed "Amazing View B&B" - My girlfriend and I were lucky with the weather but the view across the garden and over the fields of the immense North Norfolk skies were amazing. As was Pat's cooking (coffee and biscuits in bed or amazing breakfasts made with eggs from the garden)! Walsingham itself is a wonderful little town and anyone staying there must visit the Norfolk Riddle for lunch or dinner! Am writing this just after eating one of Pat's cakes she gave us as we left and that was just as fantastic as our stay there!

We have had an amazing weekend at Longview bed and breakfast. The place itself looks amazing with weathered wooden panelling/cladding, it's beautiful. Bill and Pat are easily the most welcoming hosts we have ever had the pleasure of staying with. They don't just 'run' a B&B, they literally invite you into their home, and you definitely feel like you are being welcomed into a home of friends you have known, rather than just a B&B.

I had booked 2 nights for our first anniversary and wanted to make it extra special. Pat was just amazing with all the arrangements. I wanted a bottle of champagne and also a surprise afternoon tea sorted and Pat arranged everything. I would highly recommend the high tea. When we first arrived we settled in and then we relaxed near the amazing natural pond/swimming pool while we had our welcome tea and cakes. The outdoor furniture around the pool is really tasteful and the views across a meadow garden and walsingham estate grounds beyond that are beautiful. The location couldn't be any better as far as countryside views go.

There are 2 choices of rooms the bigger room has a king bed and is ensuite. However the ensuite is smaller. The second bedroom is slightly smaller (although perfectly adequate and more for a couple) and is not an ensuite, however you get a really spacious and luxurious bathroom with a walk in shower and a double bath with his and hers wash basins.

We had our bikes with us and Bill was kind enough to put it away in the shed for us and both Bill and Pat are wonderful people. It seems they really love meeting and having conversation with people and you definitely get the feeling that they really love living the B&B life. In saying that should you want to just have a quiet holiday by the pool or in the Garden, you are left alone to do just that and if you want a top up on tea, then you only need ask.

The breakfast quality is brilliant and you can tell only the best ingredients are used and you do get a choice from a wonderful list. Pat also offers to bring you a tray of coffee and tea and biscuits in the morning to your room, before your breakfast. We have felt so welcome here and we felt like we were in a home rather than a B&B. thank you very much guys and we really hope to be back soon.

If you want to relax and recuperate in beautiful surroundings look no further. Pat and Bill provide the warmest welcome in their small but lovingly cared for home. We were welcomed with a smile a hot cuppa and the most delicious home made cake. There is plenty of room to relax in the garden where the Norfolk air will instantly bring a healthy glow to your cheeks.

The location offers a place in which to explore the North Norfolk coast, we only stayed for one night and I cant wait to return.......

Pat provides a breakfast that I can only describe as "made by your mum" with all home made preserves, fresh newly laid eggs and home made bread.

After a day wandering the local beaches and a long walk from Wells to Holkham we returned to our room where the bed was made with freshly laundered white linen, the towels soft and the bathroom a haven with underfloor heating and small touches that make you feel pampered and wanting to return. I loved the small vase of wild flowers left in the room, the tea tray brought to the room in the morning with the addition of home made biscuits. I feel this should be a best kept secret......so if the next time I ring and there is no availability I will know that many others have found my best kept secret!
Thanks Bill and Pat x

Room Tip: One room is ensuite and larger however the smaller room has the bigger bathroom...both great
