We totally underestimated this place. There is so much space for children to run around, the play areas are fantastic and really well looked after. The selection of animals is just right and the fact you can get right up & close is a bonus & the talks/ information was excellent. Even though we went in the summer holidays it didn't feel over crowded. Only downside was toilets only being at the entrance but other than that definately will be visiting again.

Myself and my family begrudgingly went to the wildlife park on this very wet and windy day, being on holiday we needed something to do. To be honest we were not expecting much but we were very, very excited by our visit in the end.
Its a gem of a park. We were greeted by a very helpful and friendly lady as we arrived who pointed us in the right direction to the animals which were fantastic and so were the staff that look after them. A very lovely animal keeper presented an animal talk to us and was very cheery. She was informative and obviously loved her animals as did other animal staff we encountered.
We stayed much longer than anticipated, the children loved the play areas and doing the trail. I loved my coffee and Panini in the café, even though the power went off and we were plunged into darkness, the coffee machine went wrong and the till stopped working for the second time and my son shouted about the lack of chips, the lovely lady that sold us our tickets earlier and then delivered our food was professional and polite and continued to smile whilst fixing and attending to everything and directing the team around her with the same pleasant nature given to grumpy customers who struggled to find seating.
It's good to see a professionaly run venue such as this, often parks like these are let down by staff that are ungracious.
This is one place we will visit again without doubt. It's welcoming, clean, very good value for money and it's compact rustic feel I'm sure is appreciated by the animals.
Well done to all in charge of this place.

We went there and had a great day out, the only fault was the prices in the restaurant, they are definitely not value for money, in fact they are ludicrously expensive so take a picnic.
All the animals appear well cared for and the staff are really helpful and knowledgeable.

We had a couple of days away without the kids and popped in here as it was close to our hotel. I was not expecting too much as the leaflet for the park was not very informative or impressive, but it's the sort of place I like.
I was impressed with the size of the park and big enclosures for the deer and wallaby. It was nice to see a wide variety and many native British species. Some enclosures weren't as impressive, but a nice way to spend several hours.
I plan to return with my children as the play areas and equipment looked amazing.
Nice cafe too.

A lovely park, easy to get around. A good selection of animals to view. Animals all looked very relaxed and happy. Polite staff, interesting talks.
Food in café was freshly made and good value.
Talks - a small microphone would have helped and having a larger area to stand in to listen to talks would help. We had a lovely day.
