Owner description: Enjoy the amazing animals at this beautiful park, in the leafy New Forest, with its fabulous adventure playgrounds. Follow the woodland trails to see wallaby, European bison, wolves, wild boar, Scottish wildcats, lynx, foxes, pine marten, polecats, owls and ferrets. Meet the friendly deer and say hi to the playful otters, including the endangered giant otter. Feeding sessions, keeper talks and special events year round. Amazing playgrounds for under 6's and from 6yrs to 86yrs!!!

“Fantastic”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 10, 2013

A fantastic visit for any age! We only planned to pop in for a hour on our way back home from the New Forest but ended up wandering around for three hours. The butterflies were unbelievable and the staff hugely knowledgeable on all the wildlife.

Highly recommended.

“Good value, lots to see, take a picnic”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 5, 2013

Followed signs on impulse to this attraction with no prior information. Not disappointed. So many animals to see, owls, deer, pine marten and Scottish wild cats, although some reluctant to be viewed ( no wolves/ wild boar/foxes or frogs seen). This is a wildlife park not a circus. We managed to completely miss the butterflies as the otters were too busy being cute. Lots to see for everyone. If you have young children the playground is huge and probably a distraction from the park. Good value for money. Cafe very reasonably priced, but take a picnic if you are on a tight budget. When reading reviews after our visit, I was surprised that people found this expensive and poor value, it is great!!!

“Luved the Otters”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 2, 2013

A really nice place to visit and walk around. The highlight was seeing the otters being fed. Could watch them for hours. Plenty more to see though. Deer, Bison, Lynx, Butterfly area, Owls and loads more.

“A great day out”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 2, 2013

Visited on a September weekday with my husband, 3 year old and baby, the park was quite quiet. I wasn't expecting much but we ended up spending the whole day there.

The staff there are very passionate and the keepers talks are worth listening to. The otters are the main attraction but the butterfly enclosure and Lynx were also interesting. We enjoyed looking for the wallabies (and found some!) but we couldn't see the wolves unfortunately. We also had great fun on the childrens (and adults!) play area, the zip wire was especially good

So whilst there are not tons of animals it's a really enjoyable day, we took a picnic so can't comment on the food. Recommended.
