I was part of a 4 person party cycling from Brighton to Dartmouth and Burley was the first night stop off. The location was quintessentially in the middle of nowhere, but that's also a good thing. It was quiet and cosy.
On arrival, despite being dripping wet, and several hours late, we were welcomed with smiles and light heartedness. The guy running the place (Aussie) had only just started working there, was an absolute legend and incredibly accommodating. He waited up for us, and kept the kitchen open for us, and then proceeded to cook us 4 lovely meals. He joined us for a beer, and left us to enjoy the facilities by ourselves.
Breakfast was nice, and met with a smile again.
The shower was a bit of a dribble, but you can still get clean. All in all, a delightful stay. If your on a budget, go here, I strongly recommend.
