Turned up on a Friday and the wagon didn't turn up. Boards up around the village advertising but a blank box where the 'next ride time' was supposed to be.
Another reviewer seems to have found that the're weekends only, pretty poor that they can't update the signs, update their website or answer the phone when calling the only number given for information.

After visiting Burley yesterday to buy one of the AMAZING ice-creams we chanced upon the wagon rides. I was a bit reluctant as for a 20 minute ride for our family of 4 it was going to cost £16 but was talked into it by my boys (11, 8). From start to finish we were welcomed by the 'driver' and young helper. The wagon ride itself went through the woods where we stopped for a photo - with the offer to take a family picture with everyone in it which was a lovely memory. We then heard about how the woods were used by smugglers and how Burley became famous for witches due to the smugglers trying to scare people away. The staff were chatty and fun and made the boys feel really welcome throughout the ride. It was much better than I expected too!

We had an hour long wagon ride through the New Forest which we all, 4 adults, 2 children & a dog, thoroughly enjoyed. The guide, Karen, was very pleasant & gave us lots of interesting information on the way. The children loved the whole experience & we would certainly recommend this excursion as good value for your money.

The ride may well be very good............but be warned the information on the website is not accurate as the rides only appear to now take place at the weekends. We had a very disappointed 3 year old on Wednesday this week when we discovered that the rides were apparantly only taking place at the weekends. There was no information saying this either on the advertising board in the Pub car park..... only a telephone no. which remained unanswered when we called.
