“A very relaxing break.”
Reviewed May 22, 2015 for a stay in March 2015

Tattershall is only one and a half hours drive form home. On arrival we phoned Ray who came on his golf buggy to meet us. He explained all the workings of the holiday let to my wife whilst me and my brother unloaded both cars. The cabin was spotless and all that we needed was included in it. We were pleasantly surprised how big the cabin was. The shower was a bit small but perfectly adequate for our 4 day stay.
The idea behind the break was for my twin brother and myself to practice a bit of fishing a sport that we have recently resumed after a 50 year break ( no time until we both retired ) The rental had one peg but Ray allowed us to use Plot16 as well because this was not let during our stay. We had a good 4 days fishing and were more than happy with our catch.
Recommendations we ate in on the first night and used the Park and Country Club on one occasion and the Legate Inn at Coningsby the other two nights. Both restaurants served excellent food but I would recommend the Legate out of the two because basically the drinks were a bit on the expensive side at the Park however you need to drive to the Legate which is approximately 5 miles away whilst the Park is just outside the main gate.
The on site club house was difficult to rate as it was the start of the season and there were few people in it. The staff do their best but it does lack atmosphere perhaps that will improve as the season gets busier. There is a shop on site for anything that you need perfectly adequate,

“Idyllic setting. Stunning lodge”
Reviewed June 8, 2014 for a stay in June 2014

Had a wonderful weekend staying at this lodge. The owner greeted us personally and came by to check levels and clean hot tub daily. Private fishing peg right off the verandah. Absolutely stunning views across the lake to tattershall castle. Loads for kids to do and the on site spa had wonderful treatments. The cabin was decorated and furnished beautifully and was spotlessly clean with everything you could need and nice finishing touches. If I had to be incredibly picky, a BBQ would have been lovely, but a full gas cooker was more than ample...just meant not passing the cooking off to my man! Overall excellent. Would highly recommend!
