Travelled with a family of 9 including a 9, 7 and 1 year old, parents and Grandparents. We all enjoyed our stayed very much and could have quite easily have stayed for the whole six weeks holidays. The log cabin had everything you need and more. Janice had thought of every single detail. Doing meals for 9 with all the pots and serving platters was brilliant and not a problem. We ate outside every evening because the view was great and weather was hot. Fantastic place to sit and relax in the day and have fun in the evening. My children were on the lake in the canoes and rowing boats every night from 7 and did not want to go out. During the day they played in the lake and in the garden. If you like water sports this is a fab place. My children did wake-boarding lessons, had a go on ringo's and jet skis, fishing and took part in kids activities, body zorbing, water jets and water walkers. They loved it as much as their abroad holiday. It was a children's play paradise. Although the planes can be noisy at times we all loved it, fighter jets doing loops above you and landing behind the lodge. Jet skis are noisy at the weekend but again my kids really enjoyed watching all the excitement in front of them. We loved Woodhall Spa. Outdoor pool, gorgeous bakery and a lovely meal at the Inn Hotel. Having stayed at a number of villas abroad and caravans in the UK, this lodge made a brilliant holiday and could not have asked for more. Enjoy !!
