This place is a bit tricky to get to unless you have a local friend or tour guide. We found it by chance using a rental car and returned a few days later when driving back towards Mobay. The view was great - but then again, so were most seaside restaurants here. You'll hit it as you head east to Ocho Rios from Mobay - just be on the lookout for Discovery Bay. You can miss it if you are not paying attention. It's definitely a place to pre-program into your GPS, cell phone, or mark on your map.
When you walk in, you'll think you're at a resort - a beautiful deck, nice bar (see pics), and turquoise water. It's seriously good enough to consider spending a couple hours here, sipping drinks at the bar, eating the food, and chatting with your friends. Finally, a place that didn't ridiculously gauge you, and that offers a more authentic experience. Prices were well advertised, portions great, food great.
The only things preventing a perfect 5 was that we had to go up to grab the waitresses attention a few times, they didn't have a couple menu items, and on one order of pork, the meat was a tad on the fatty side, but these were very minor inconveniences - I just bring them up so you don't go there and expect absolute perfection. This is basically an eatery after all.
Recommendation: if you're in a small party, grab 1/4 portions so you can sample as much as possible. The chicken and pork are a must - as is festival and bammy if you haven't tried them. The pork sausage was another favorite. This was not only one of the best meals I had in Jamaica, for sure, but more importantly one of the best meal experiences.
