“great beach when the suns out”
Reviewed July 22, 2013

Nice sandy beach for the odd occasion when sun is out in Ireland. Free parking. Toilet block. Good for Surfing and body boarding. Nice family beach.

“Lovely safe beach”
Reviewed June 18, 2013

Never even knew about this place until I visited a friend on holidays. My girls loved the beach, and didn't know what to make of the jellyfish - they had never seen so many in their life. Water was lovely, didn't want to get out of the water!

“Stunning Beach”
Reviewed April 14, 2013

We visited this beach in April, one of the coldest Springs on record. It was very bracing and quiet at this time of year, wonderful to walk along and watch the Atlantic roll in. There is also a dedicated car park and in seaon toilet facilities.

“love it”
Reviewed April 12, 2013

one of my favourite beaches in Ireland. I have gone body boarding, surfing and swimming here many time. can get kind of wild here so if bringing kids keep a good eye on them in the water. and when the tide comes in it comes in fast. but if you like wild beaches then this is a good one

“Beautiful!”
Reviewed April 7, 2013

Loved this volcanic beach... the sand is marbled and the scenery is stunning.

We finished a long day with a walk along the beach, wrapped up in a warm coat, hat, gloves and wellies, kicking through the shallows... paddling on the west coast of Ireland!

Brilliant :D
