I stayed two weeks again with Gill and Pat and felt so comfortable and cosy. Gill spoils all her guests very much and every wish is fulfilled. The B&B is wonderful warm and heated. The new breakfast room with the big window to the sea and one to the mountains is gorgeous. Thank you to you both, I´ll definitely be back.

When they say on their website that all rooms look out onto the sea they meant it - and the sea is barely 100 metres away! The rooms in Orchid House are tastefully decorated, immaculately clean, and homely. Gill and Paddy are gracious hosts, friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable about the area. Paddy's lovely nature photos decorate the walls of the house and his knowledge of the Burren's wildlife and flowers makes the visit all the more interesting. Breakfasts are very generous - fresh fruit, all sorts of cereals and beverages, not to mention a full Irish menu that would feed anyone for the day (I asked for smaller portions on the second morning). Ballyvaughan, Doolin, Cliffs of Moher, Ailwee Caves and, of course, the Burren's are all within a short drive. Fanore beach is a good spot for seascape photography. Overall, a superb location and we will be back.

Room Tip: All rooms are excellent.

My compliments and many thanks to Gill and Pat for making our stay a wonderful and lasting experience. The breakfast was a treat, the rooms very tidy and tastefully decorated, the beds "grand altogether". And if you need a bit of advice about the Burren etc.. Just ask Gill and Pat. If you want to have a wonderful stay as a small group (6-8 people or so) don't look any further. Highly recommended!!

Places like this are what Ireland are all about. Gill and Pat welcomed us into their home like we were family. Their home is spotless and very cozy. Our room was simple, clean, and very comfortable. The area is very quiet and welcoming. The views from the property are beautiful. The breakfast was amazing. We will definitely spend more time at the Orchid House on our next trip.

Both Gill and Pat were wonderfully informative and helpful hosts who genuinely seemed interested in our day's events. The location is spectacular, the room was clean, attractive and comfortable (with a view of the Aran Islands!) and the breakfast was superb. We just could not have stayed in a better place.

Our friend booked on our behalf, it was our first trip to Ireland. She said Gill was very friendly and helpful even when she had to write back different times to adjust the booking. And when we got there, we understood what she had meant: lovely hostess, super views, spot-on breakfast. what more is there to say? We will be back and our friend can't wait to go and investigate herself.
