We booked for 4 people and on arrival went through to the bar where the fire was in full flare. A good range of hand pulled ales and we sat in front of the fire.
Our companions were going to be about 15 mins late for our biking and the owner was quite happy about it. Had the menus whilst we waited and were perfectly looked after.
A great range of specials of the day - always a good sign. Lots of local game, as well as fish and meat dishes.
Food when served was absolutely fantastic. I thought the pricing was about right, and as stated in an earlier response, plenty of wines of varied prices to choose from.
It’s clear to me that the owners have tremendous pride in what they are doing at the Kings Arms. It was our first visit for about 5 years but we will definitely return.
Well done to all the pleasant staff!More
