Description: This pub does marvellous meals and has a hospitality package during the TT races on the IOM in June. Their service is superb and i would like to acknowledge that.

I really like their pasta. The manx queenies (scallops) starter is a must as well. They always have fresh cakes and desserts on display which make it difficult to pay up without going in for some.

“Fabulous viewing point for races!”
Reviewed August 17, 2014 via mobile

Taken to the creg by friends to have a drink and watch some racing. Ended up having a meal too as the sight and smell of the food proved too tempting to resist and it didn't disappoint!! Excellent views, basic but tasty food. Very pleased!

“Excellent pub food”
Reviewed August 17, 2014

Great food & great value.
Real home made chips- very rare. My savoury mince pie was a treat. The fish & chips was also top rated.
If only we had fresh veg & if it was Organic it would be the best place to eat in the world!
Could not believe that it wasn't full on a friday lunchtime.
Very friendly service. Great location & views.
Thank you.

“Disappointing”
Reviewed August 5, 2014

I have been to the Creg on many occasions over the years and never been as disappointed as our visit yesterday. My daughter ordered gammon which came with chips. The chips were soggy and limp and the gammon fatty. Everything just thrown on the plate, so for presentation - nil points. My ham salad was a plate of lettuce with a few grapes and a couple of slices of orange on the side plus the sliced ham of course! None of the usual salad foods you would expect - tomato's, coleslaw etc. All in all very disappointing.

“A HOT SUNNY WEEK IN JULY...”
Reviewed August 2, 2014

We visited The Isle of Man for the very first time this summer, mainly as a pilgrimage for my husband who's father and ancestors originated from here. We dined in the Creg-ny-baa on two separate occasions. The Pub is in a fantastic location with a TT grandstand by the side . It can be a bit tricky to find as it is out in the sticks but well worth the trip as the views are stunning in all directions from the long straight roads left and right of you to the not too distant sea. The food was of very high standard and fairly priced. The steaks were particularly good. The restaurant was very clean and well serviced, the staff very chatty and friendly. Outside is a pit stop area/ beer garden where bike enthusiasts sip a soft drink and ogle each others bikes.
There doesn't seem to be very many good places to eat on the Isle of Man so finding this place
( on trip adviser before we went on holiday ) was a godsend.
