“Lovely homely stay”
Reviewed August 26, 2015 for a stay in August 2015

We found booking our holiday easy and stress free, as was paying safely. The owners were always courteous and very friendly when I contacted them which is always reassuring and nothing seemed too much trouble. The cottage itself was homely and well equipped as well as cosy and warm with plenty of hot water and everything we needed as a family. The pint of milk in the fridge was very welcome as were the fresh flowers and chocolate as well as other welcome extras. The location was quiet and we sat in the courtyard and enjoyed a peaceful glass of wine. We were close to most places we wanted to visit - Godshill, Blackgang to name but two. We'd love to go back to Dairy Cottage as we now have some lovely holiday memories here.

Liked best: The family feel of Dairy Cottage
Liked least: Wifi not particularly good but was actually a good thing as it meant we didn't spend hours on our phones and laptops!

“Charming Cottage for a Cozy Getaway”
Reviewed April 10, 2015 for a stay in April 2015

Five of us stayed here for Easter Weekend, and it really did feel like something from Enid Blyton's "The Famous Five"! The cottage has been lovingly furnished in a vintage style, with little ornaments and posters from bygone days adorning each room. There is also an open fire, and a selection of board games and books for those cozy nights in! It's perfectly located within walking distance of the quaint village of Whitwell, which has an excellent local pub and church - both worth a visit (but remember to book if you want to eat at the popular White Horse Inn). For us townies, it was lovely to wake up to the sounds of birdsong and the horses whinnying in a nearby field. A perfect place to escape to!

“Lovely cottage in beautiful location.”
Reviewed September 7, 2014 for a stay in September 2014

This is a delightful unique cottage in a lovely location. Very well placed to explore the island. Everything you could possibly need is in the cottage and it feels very homely. We stayed for a week but would have loved to stay longer to explore all the island.

We had a great stay in this cute cottage which has been lovingly restored and decorated. Homely feel and a generous welcome pack! It is in a good location and easy to get to most places (when roads are not closed). Would recommend for a small family or group and we would return again one day.
Thanks Kirsty!

“Dream Cottage”
Reviewed August 5, 2012 for a stay in July 2012

We stayed in this cottage last year and this year. We thought it was fantastic last year but we felt even better this year, partly because our son is slightly older (he is 4, now) and Dad could drive this time. The cottage is in a brilliant location to go to the beach (Ventnor) and Blackgang Chine (our son's dreamland). In fact we only did these tow things during our stay this time and already had too much to do. We did crab hunting, mackerel fishing (and eating!), many wave fighting (as super heroes of course) in Ventnor and a lot of climbing ups as pirates in Blackgang Chine. Nearby Niton is a fantastic village with great child friendly pub and very interesting shops (as many as two of them!). Even without a car, if you can remember the bus timetable, it is not so difficult to go about places. The cottage is cosy, clean (for even my Japanese standard!), well equipped and tastefully decorated. Thoroughly recommended
