As Cathedrales go this one is old but not particularly outstanding. However the cloisters have a tranquil atmosphere with tombs dating back to the 15th century. The walled city is listed as amongst the most beautiful towns in France. It has some lovely features but you'll need a brochure from the tourist office to find and appreciate them. Of course the tourist office takes typically long French lunchtimes. If you turn up when it is shut take a long lunch in the tearooms across the square.
The guided tours of the village and Cathedrale are recommended as you'll get to see things that are hidden from public view.
