“Our second Summer holiday stay at Whitford View”

As the title suggests this was our second two week stay in Crofty and the delightful Whitford View. We were blessed with the weather and I don't think I have ever walked as far during any holiday. The location of the cottage is just perfect to get almost anywhere in the Gower or Brecon Beacons. Every day we went somewhere different, from the waterfalls in the Neath valley to Tenby and Caldy Island and then to Bridgend Retail park for some shopping. I just love Rhosilli and the amazing beach and cliff top walks. Forget Devon & Cornwall or the Lakes, this place is just a forgotten slice of heaven just waiting to be explored. Opposite the cottage is a lovely pub. A few yards further up is a handy little shop. Great chippy a few miles up the road and just the best views you can enjoy just before you close the curtains. I don't want to rave about this place too much as we want to go back again next year for a few weeks of fun so I don't want it fully booked just yet.
Thanks to the owners who are just next door. Lovely place, lovely cottage - go, do and enjoy!!

“Bliss”
Reviewed September 4, 2017 for a stay in September 2017

We were visiting for a family occasion, and stayed for 2 nights. The house is situated in a beautiful, peaceful village on the Gower, with good local amenities and friendly locals.
The House is finished to a high standard, is spotlessly clean, and Rhian has thought of everything you could possibly need to be relaxed and comfortable during your stay.
I can't recommend this place highly enough, and plan to book the house again for our next visit :)

“Lush! Lush! Lush!”

The house was perfect. Every convenience was there. High quality furnishings and comfortable beds. The famous Pen Clawdd cockles were actually prepared by the family next door. A real treat. The view was surreal because at times the sea was almost lapping the bottom of the garden and when the tide went out, there was a beautiful green field with horses grazing on it. A village shop a few doors away and a lovely village pub directly opposite. We all had a marvellous time. Would love to return and probably will.

“Amazing holiday cottage in a fantastic location”

My husband and I stayed in this amazing property in July 2017 for a whole week and couldn't have had a nicer time!

We picked a great week for the weather and had a great time exploring the Gower.

The cottage is exceptional - beautifully decorated with all modern amenities. The view from the back garden is amazing, particularly if you get chance to sit out in an evening and experience the sunset!

The location is also excellent with easy access by car to all areas of the Gower, from 15/20 minutes to Rhosilli to 30 minutes to Mumbles. If you want to venture outside the Gower, it only takes 15/20 minutes to get to Llanelli and nearby with the Wetlands nature reserve and Pembrey Country Park and beach. All the locals are so friendly which makes everything so much more enjoyable.

Thanks again to Rhian and Jonathan for providing accommodation to such a high standard. Would love to stay again!

Fantastic location with beautiful views across the salt marsh.
House was really well equipped, very clean and modern.
The locals were very friendly and we were blessed with great weather.
It's a nice walk around to the Dolphin pub, about 3 miles.

“High standard holiday home!”

We arrived to find the owners had put a Christmas tree and decorations up for us which immediately made a homely welcome for us.
The house is warm and well insulated which meant we felt comfortable anywhere in the house. Kitchen is large, well equipped with a stunning view over the salt marsh to the estuary ( bird watchers will enjoy - bring binoculars!).
My wife enjoyed spending time with the (owners) horses which are just beyond the rear garden in a separate enclosure and were very friendly!
Beds are comfortable with memory foam which ensured a good rest at the end of the day.
Look forward to returning.
