“46 Days in Paradise”
Reviewed October 25, 2013

First of all I must say that we loved the beaches of Manzanillo especially once you walk a bit through the park, magnificent views. As for Maxi's restaurant at best it's a hit and miss story. We went there once for a drink and watch a couple have fresh red snapper for lunch and they raved about it. We went back and ordered the same dish, however it was not fresh nor was MIT cooked properly as it was the driest fish I have ever had. Complained and at least got a smile from the waitress. The view of the beach is very good at least from the second floor, however they could do without the TV and just play music.

“Way overpriced, but great food!”
Reviewed October 24, 2013 via mobile

We LOVED the food here. Just felt it was way overpriced. We did not end up coming back due to the high cost. Service was great.

“Enjoyed it!”

We stopped here after our jungle tour with local guide Abel. We asked him what the best dish was to order and it definitely was the red snapper. The service was great and the food delicious!

Only bested by the fact their chef went solo. As always reliable, delicious food, drinks and service. A great football bar when games are on the television and a great place to watch the beach crowd and surf while sipping a juicy cocktail.

“wasn't satisfied”
Reviewed August 21, 2013

Went twice and both times the food wasn't great and pretty pricey. There are so many other good restaurants to eat at that cost less. We wont be going back to Maxi's..
