Garlasco is a small town, not much more than a village, so to find a four star hotel here was a surprise. It is opposite a casino- and that too was a surprise. I avoid such places.
The hotel is not new but is still quite smart for the area. The foyer is large and imposing, perhaps intended for functions or conferences. My room was large and comfortable furnished and the bathroom was above avrage. Surprisingly I could not see any airconditioning, though we did not need it. The hitel is a good walk from the old town centre where we chose to eat. Breakfast was the best we have had for a while in small towns in the area.More
