I was never a fan of the river fish, and i have never visited this beatiful restaurant before. Now that i have been there i changed my mind over the river fish: this kind of fish has a dignity, a taste and personality, but must be treated by capable hands, able to exalt its characteristics. This is what i found at la trota: a great menu based on the river fish (mainly trout, carp, perch and shrimps), well conceived and prepared, presented in excellent manner, enjoyng a professional service with large and comprehensive explanation about the origin of the exclusively local food. Don't miss the carp in roasted poppy sead, or the pasta with river shrimps . Excellent homemade sweets , large wine list for all tastes and pockets !
