This was a great find !
The chef really knows his stuff, great menu, great fresh ingredients (mostly organic and often from the chef’s mother’s garden), choice cuts and very good-value, well-chosen wine list.
The restaurant is situated in Café Street, not so big, but nice ambience and good service. The food is outstanding, well prepared and presented, and looks as good as it tastes.
The food is predominantly Italian and French and regularly changes. The day’s special is according to what is the best available in the early markets so ingredients are absolutely fresh. Desserts are a dream, hand-made with care and artistry.
Well worth a visit. We have been many times now and have never been disappointed and always enjoyed our time and meals.
Also offers very good value 5 course lunch and dinner sets.
The chef is Cordon Bleu trained and has visited many of the greatest restaurants abroad and he shares this experience in his menus. He was recently on SBS and won 1st prize which has increased his reputation, so you now need to make a reservation so as not to be disappointed.
