The waterfall is wonderful and it is very nice walk to the 7th step. It is very nice place to have a bath and allow the fishes to nibble on your feed.
However, it is a little bit crowded. If you have some time, stay for a night at the park and enjoy a lonely bath early in the morning - without tourists making 1000 of photos of their bikini-posing girlfriends.. :)

Hike all the way to the 7th step, as it is more quiet and the road more adventurous. Each step is more beautiful than the other.

I loved this place they make people put downa deposit if you have a plastic bottle so you dont throw it into the water or nature. its all about respect the place is beautifull with natural springs n waterfalls n swimming with fish that nibble your toes hehehe theres natural water slides n all diferent levels of hiking to get to higher falls 5 i think but it can be testing if its hot but its worth it!

This place have 7 levels of waterfalls with clean fresh water and lots of fish. Definitely worth to go. Love it! :D
You can climb to the top first and then start swimming from top to bottom. If you bring bottled water, you will need to deposit money depends on how many bottles you carry. One bottle around 20 Baht.
Once you go down, you need to show your bottle and they will return your money.

We stayed in Bangkok but just got a personal driver for the day (cost us $80USD) to take us the 3 hours up to Erawan, let us enjoy the park for a few hours and then drove us back that afternoon. You can also take a bus but since we were only in Bangkok a few days I wanted to maximize time. I HIGHLY recommend getting there early so that you can avoid the crowds. Bring your camera (ideally waterproof, although we just had an iphone and it was fine) a swimsuit, sunscreen and bug spray. It was ABSOLUTELY worth the trip up there - it's just gorgeous. The hike will cause you to be out of breath but it's definitely doable. Didn't even cross my mind not to go all the way. Also, other reviewers mention the fish as an issue - I am terrified of fish (total irrational fear) and I was fine swimming in most of the falls/pools. Go - just go - you won't regret it!
