We visited Machaan in rainy season, when everything around it was lush green.. It is basically a coffee plantation converted to a resort. To be honest we did not expect that facilities would be so good. Manager and staff was well mannered and helpful. Rooms were surprisingly good with all required facilities. They maintained very good cleanliness in rainy season when mud was all around and insects were in plenty. Only problem I found was the pathway connecting cottages to dining area and then to the entrance. It is not properly laid and not well lit. This is a problem in rainy season, especially at night.
Overall, it was a great experience and would love to go there again.More
