Have always driven past and wanted to check it out, looks stunning from the outside. And the menu looks great.

It's a bit dated inside. Nice, friendly staff though. We decided to push the boat out, I had the lobster, which was ok, but at £33 I'd expect more. Plus £5 for garden vegetables. For me and my wife it was over £100 and the food was just ok.. When you pay that much you expect excellence. Unfortunately that was not delivered.

The Due Amici is a nice Italian restaurant in Chislehurst with very nice food and good service. The staff are very welcoming when you arrive.
Although the food was very nice I feel that it is over priced, mainly due I suspect, for being situated in the old part of Chislehurst.
For a three course meal including one drink each you are looking at around £100. This includes a cover charge which I thought went out with the Ark and a service charge. This was at the cheaper end of the price range.
I have had just as good, if not better Italian food at other restaurants for a lot less. See my other reviews.
Overall, a nice evening out but....

Lovely little Italian restaurant with a true family feel. The service in this restaurant is first class. Was a little bit disappointed by the food but not enough to put me off of going again. The restaurant has a lovely feel to it

Love this restaurant, great food, fabulous, friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere. Whether you're here with the kids, who they are just marvellous with, or having a romantic meal, they just get it so right. We've had many wonderful evenings here and have recommended the restaurant to many friends who all adore it! We're so lucky to have such a well established gem of a restaurant in our neighbourhood. Its never nice to read bad reviews but the couple on here are just too unfair...one just smacks of pretentiousness, the menu is extensive so why you'd need to ask for something that's not on it is beyond me! Most of the staff are proud Italians so to imply this is not an italian reataurant is plain rude and a bit dumb! Anyway, we had a wonderful Christmas lunch here, delicious food and the BEST christmas pudding we've ever eaten! The kids had a great time and the waiters made the day so special for us, i just hope they got to enjoy their Xmas too! Can't wait to return and i would recommend this place to anybody that wants a really special meal out xxx
