Have been to the Churchill Theatre in Bromley a few times to see pantos/shows. Most recent show was Beauty & The Beast on 23 Nov 2012, which was the most thrilling, awesome show we have seen in a very long time! I cannot express how truly captivating and stunning the whole production was - from the gorgeous, lavish costumes, wonderful stage props, fabulous special effects, professionalism of the actors/vocals etc - everything was perfect!

The whole show was very magical and the chilldren loved every minute. Very highly recommended! (Bear in mind that this show began at 7.30pm, with a half hour interval and finished at 10.15pm, so it's quite long or little ones to sit still and there were some kiddies getting restless but that is to be expected).

The Churchill Theatre itself can be a bit of a maze but once you have sussed out the basic layout it's fine - just a lot of stairs to tackle. There is a lift hidden away down several corridors that is only accessible if you ask a member of staff to take you as they need a key to unlock it. I think it's more for those who are wheelchair bound or with other disabilities that prevent someone from walking up/down stairs.

For parents with prams we discovered that the best thing to do is to leave your pram at the Exit level (just behind the screen next to the ticket desk). If you try taking it with you on any other level you will have problems with the stairs (we tried it!) and then at the end of the performance when you want to leave it can be difficult manoevring the pram when other guests are trying to vacate via the staircases.

There is a good bar area - drinks are pricier than shops but perhaps not as pricey as the West End theatres.

We found the seats comfy enough and we had a fantastic view from ROW L of the stalls (middle section). Please note that no photography/videos are allowed during the show.

The theatre location is also very good as it is right next to the Glades Shopping Centre and High Street where you can find plenty of places to eat before/after a show.

Overall this is one of my favourite theatres and the shows are excellent value for money - well you get more than your money's worth to be honest!

Highly recommended.

I love going to the Churchill theater and have been several times to see all different shows, from Beauty and the Beast to the Chinese state circus and each time have had excellent seats whilst being in the top tiers (something that if you are in a theater in London would normally leave you seeing little of the action).

What's more, this venue also offers up a great comedy night on Saturday night that is intimate and has some really good acts on, sometimes surprising you with massive current names in Comedy all for about £12.

Online ordering is also very easy and allows you to choose your own seats for the best experience.

Went to see Swan Lake and Mathew Bourne's Nutcracker at this nice local theatre. The performances were fantastic and my first experience of ballet.
Prices of shows will vary with times and dates but are far cheaper than the West End.
Being in the centre of Bromley, there are plenty of pubs and restaurants around to eat and drink before/after the show.
