We stayed at the Apple Blossom cottage as we had a friend's wedding nearby.
Pearl, the owner, was lovely, very accommodating and helpful. Even though the cottage could be self-catering we were able to book breakfasts to be served in the cottage itself, which was amazing the day after the wedding as we didn't need to get dressed and could roll back into bed after eating! Pearl also helped us book a taxi to the wedding which was much appreciated.
Two comfortable bedrooms, ours had a four poster bed. We had a cosy living room too. The cottage is well decorated, with a homely feel. It had all necessary amenities and the kitchen was fully equipped.
The cottage is in a beautiful, though remote location - ask Pearl for directions (our taxi driver didn't know where to go). Wish we'd had a day or so more to explore the countryside.
We would highly recommend for either a short stay or as a base for a longer self-catering holiday.
