My friend and I took our two five year old daughters last Sunday, 29th April 2012. We were disappointed to find that when we arrived at 2.45pm we were told that the facility was closing less than an hour later due to a private party. This was despite the published times stating it didn't close until 6pm and, most irritatingly, us having called that morning to check the opening times for that day as we were travelling nearly 20 miles. We suggested that they might offer a small discount on the £5.50 entrance fee but this was refused. Clearly they realised that we were hostage to two very excited children and could do nothing else but pay the asking price. They tried to say that the information was published on the website but when I said I'd checked the website that morning, they admitted they weren't updating it at the moment but that the information was, apparently, on Facebook. Once we got past this initial hurdle, however, we found the attraction to be very good. The girls had a fantastic time and the space is very light and bright. The plentiful parent seating affords a good view of the whole facility. Most importantly(!), the coffee was excellent - something you rarely find in these places. It was just a shame we had less than an hour to enjoy it.
