“A whole lot of fun”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 30, 2014 via mobile

We went to Baja Beans on market day. Baja Beans is literally a bean field with some open areas and covered stands or simple structures that serve as restaurants and shops. Most if the food is from nearby fields, there are stands with beverages, coffee and sweets. All type of vendors have stands selling crafts, jewelry, clothing, art both made by natives and American locals.Fresh produce looked very good.

“Another great two weeks”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 25, 2014 via mobile

Just got back from another great two weeks in Pescadero. A regular stop during my stay was the Baja Beans. Consistent quality, great pastries. The coffee was good too. My favorite is the carrot cake. Also try the hibiscus drink, when it gets a little hot out, I enjoyed this change of pace instead of coffee. Looking forward to the fall when the larger crowds are back and they have a bigger Sunday market.

“De-stressing with caffeine...”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 17, 2014

The coffee here is some of the best I’ve tasted in my life. We came here twice, and each time ordered a cappuccino—plus bags of coffee to take home as gifts. Once we got the mushroom quiche, which was large and good but not quite warm, and the next time we ordered a succulent carrot cake. The courtyard is shaded by mango trees and filled with tables where you can sit and read for hours (which we did). There is wi-fi and also a paperback “library” in one corner. Definitely a wonderful place to enjoy coffee and relax. They accept credit cards and the staff we spoke with were all English-fluent, pleasant, and proud of the artistry with which they produced their brews.
