“Horrible service, way overpriced for ok food.”
Reviewed March 14, 2014

Horrible service, way overpriced for ok food. Price was one of the highest in Todos Santos. Quality was not even close to places like Hotel Pescadero, Mi Cassa?, Miguel's.

“Fabulous Fusion”
Reviewed March 13, 2014

Who would have thought that Mexican/Asian fusion would work, but it does at Carlito's. The restaurant was recommended to us by the owner of the beachfront casita we were renting and were we happy we took her advice. When we arrived, Carlos was in the middle of shooting a programme for TV, but he instantly made us feel very welcome. Everyone at the restaurant got a plate of the sashimi he was preparing for the show.

Our dinner was delicious - I ate shrimp and my husband had blue crab that was amazing. A small slice of key lime pie was the perfect finish to our meal. The outdoor restaurant is really pretty but a little hard to find without good directions; a sign on the main road might help.

Highly recommend this restaurant.

“Not to be missed”
Reviewed February 22, 2014

If you visit the Todos Santos area of Baja, this little gem in El Pescadero is not to be missed.
The food is an unusual fusion of Asian and Mexican that works perfectly. Why hasn't anyone else thought to use cilantro in wonton soup? The garden setting is lovely and the host and hostess, Carlito and Brianda are like friends you didn't know you had. Very seldom does a restaurant get the hospitality and the kitchen expertise so well synced. Let them choose for you based on what is fresh and special. The fabulous produce from this little farming community is put to exceptional use by Carlito. I hope they can maintain the personal service as their popularity grows.

“Good food.. Expensive”
Reviewed February 5, 2014

Was a little expensive (for what I would expect in Mexico) but the food and service make it worth it.

“First time trying sashimi...”
Reviewed January 19, 2014

We stayed with friends in El Pescadero and they took us to Carlito's for dinner on our last night. What a great farewell! We met the owner, Carlos and his lovely wife Brianda - very wonderful hosts! There were 6 of us (Tom, Mary, Jessie, Jo) - they frequent this restaurant often, and we enjoyed an assortment of dishes which we all shared. Steve and I tried sashimi (wahoo) for the first time ever (never thought I would) and it actually melted in my mouth. Lovely presentation, delicious assortment of foods. We will be back! Thanks again Carlos for this great experience! Debbie and Steve
