“We'll Be Coming Back...”
Reviewed April 11, 2014

My partner and I just came back from a quick 3-night trip down to Rancho Pescadero based off of the recommendation of several coworkers and friends. I still feel my heart aching from our departure. It was such an amazing few days away!

As previous reviews have said, this place is worth every dollar. In fact, I would pay more. We stayed in a Pacific Suite, which I think is probably the best value out of all the available options. Everything about the room was impeccable, from the bathroom with a view from the shower out onto the mountains and fields, to the outdoor patio that was literally the size of the room, but with a view of the ocean to boot.

The staff was just the best. Special shout outs to Chef Bueno, who cooked off the dinner menu for us every night just because we asked him to get creative, to the bartenders who kept our glasses full (Sergio, Jose), and the lovely GM Don.

We'll be back. Probably not as soon as I would like.

Room Tip: You really can't go wrong, but the Pacific Suites are a really good value for what you get.

Open stretches of pristine beach, open air yoga studio, GREAT food, beachside massage casa, palapas on the sand with firepits, and wonderful rooms and service. What else is there to say? If you are in Todos this is the place to stay.

Room Tip: King room...there are nice roof decks but we preferred the larger rooms on bottom floor w/King beds...

The perfect way to begin our honeymoon. The staff know how to help you relax. We arrived and were immediately instructed to head to the poolside bar for a free drink while our bags were taken to our room. Expect pool and beachside beds, stocked beachfront pits, incredible food, long walks on a pristine beach, trails through the dune flora, breakfast delivered to your door and most of all, an amazing crew of staff. Special thanks to Karla who delivered my lost wedding ring all the way to La Paz! Thanks, Rancho Pescadero. You certainly know how to host a vacation.

Rancho Pescadero was recommended by a friend who never let's me down, and this great boutique resort is proof of that once again. The grounds are beautiful, private, and immaculate.
The staff and service are some of the best I have experienced. On top of all of that, the chef and bartenders are terrific.

Room Tip: The second floor has better views.

If you are looking for a beautiful, tranquil, resort type accommodation this is the perfect place. The resort is absolutely beautiful with the most manicured gardens and beaches you will find. the pool area, there are two of them, are very nice and have service at the main pool, which also has a Jacuzzi. We did have the Jacuzzi by our rooms not working, but we just went to the main Jacuzzi instead. The service at this resort is wonderful, everything is charged to your room and at the end of your stay you add a tip for the entire staff, (except for the massage center which you can tip at time of service) The evening restaurant is very nice, and Chef Bueno is excellent. All the veggies and spices are home grown and the food is delicious. We will go back again. In regards to the rooms, they are very nice, no tv or phones but very relaxing. We had a patio and ocean view. Every morning they bring you tea/coffee and pastries. A nice touch. Everything was perfect.

We spent a week at Rancho Pescadero on our 1st ever visit to southern Baja California. Don Morris and his team of hotel, bar and restaurant staff were friendly, professional and focused on providing a comfortable, no pressure, relaxed environment for their guests. The facility and grounds were immaculate - they even rake the beach. Without a doubt we'll be returning to Rancho in the future.

Room Tip: Second floor accommodations provide a better view of the ocean but every room in Rancho is beautiful...

Returned to Rancho Pescadero after a visit three years ago. This time we had a ocean view room with as much space outside as inside. Everything is spotlessly clean and well maintained which can't be easy so close to the ocean. Very large bathroom with tub and separate open shower, two sinks and water closet with a door. The breakfast basket placed outside your door every morning is brilliant. Coffee, fruit and wonderful little pastries keep you satisfied until you can make your way to breakfast. The manager, Don, and all the staff we met are always available and willing to help with information about anything you might be interested in seeing or doing. The food has improved 100pct owing no doubt to the new chef. Lovely ambiance in the dining room and around the pool. It's very private and quiet so if you're looking for lots of action, go elsewhere. Evenings were gorgeous with an almost full moon reflected on the ocean and usually someone at the bar or firepit if you want some conversation. All in all, a perfect place for us.

Room Tip: We loved #17 a Milagro king suite on the second floor.
