We were a group of three friends and wanted a base for a two day walk along the Dorset coast path in March and Maycroft proved an excellent choice. Janet was very helpful and her husband very kindly offered to drop us by car at the start of our walk on day 1. The two rooms were warm, clean and comfortable and the bathroom well equipped with a new shower. Excellent breakfasts really set us up for the day (we walked 25 miles over two days). Nearby in the village there's the Ship Inn for evening meals, and down in Worth Matravers the excellent Square and Compass for a good pint and great music by the fire. Recommended.
