Great place!
Really friendly; they ordered pizza for us because we arrived late and gave us some really good tips for day trips and all the maps and so on!

And: the garden is wonderful, with a great view on the lake (looks much better than on the pictures on their homepage), nice to sit and have a beer in the evening.

We would definitely recommend to stay there!

The position is unbelievable, situated centrally to the north of the Lake Galilee. The accommodation is clean and very comfortable. The welcome is brilliant with a real family feel. We would recommend this place to anyone travelling in Israel. In fact, even if you plan to visit Tel Aviv & Jerusalem it would be worth every penny to travel up to Almagor just to experience this place! We spent 8 days here and would go back tomorrow if we could.

Our family stayed here for a few days while touring the Galilee area. It served as a great central hub near Tiberias, Capernaum, Safet, Rosh Pinna, and the northern parks in Galilee. The BnB offers a great view of the sea, the staff is friendly, the food is delicious, and it is in a nice, secluded community, so very quiet and peaceful. What else could you ask for?

We stayed two nights in this wonderful guesthouse and were astonished by a friendly stuff, a wonderful garden and great accomodations. Fresh fruits, milk and coffee will wait in your room and the breakfast is the richest buffet we've ever had.
It has a nice view on the lake, offers recommandations for attractions in the region and even orders your pizza for you if you want - also close to great nature reserves.
All in all an awesome, intimate place!

The Sea of Galilee Guest house is a little oasis on the north side of the Lake. We were kindly welcomed and enjoyed staying in the new dorm. Very clean, a kitchen to use, and very friendly staff. The dorm beds are pretty hard, but we were able to use the extra blankets provided to soften them up a bit. Because it's off the beaten path a bit, there are quite a few large mosquito bugs that come out at night. If you're looking for a quiet, private, and relaxing place to stay, I would highly recommend it!

In my research for quality accommodation at affordable prices for a family of 5 plus 3 young adult friends, the Sea of Galilee Guest House stood out in the reviews and it thoroughly deserves to do so. The variety of accommodation on offer (dormitory as well as family rooms) was able to cater to the budgets of both the family and our student friends. The breakfast experience (included in the cost for the family room but an extra for the dorm accommodation) was very much part of the day with delicious locally sourced foods (eg soft cheeses made by a neighbour and citrus fruits from the garden); it was also a time to chat with Yael and Roni about the local area and their part in the making of its history. In the evenings we used the guest kitchen to prepare some simple meals (microwave and hob - no oven). The welcome and personal attention was exceptional.

Like an oasis! We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay at the Sea of Galilee guest house. The setting is unmatched from the orange trees right outside our door to the beautiful views of the Kinneret. Even better than all that were the friendliness and helpfulness of our hosts. The breakfasts were the best we had on our trip and it was a delight to be greeted so warmly each morning. The fresh herbs in our room for tea were an added treat as was the bowl of fresh fruit.

We will certainly recommend "Sea of Galilee Guest House" to anyone we know traveling in that area.
