“A great place to stay”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 30, 2014

The chalet was in a perfect setting and very clean and comfortable, overlooking the ocean and harbour entrance. The whole complex of Pacific Rendezvous is in an awesome position with the grounds well maintained and excellent hosts. We had three nights here, everyday with clear blue skies and plenty of sun.

What an gorgeous setting with incredible views. The sunrises and sunsets are breathtaking with panoramic ocean views. However, the chalet was very outdated, it was more like staying at a family bach and not in keeping with luxurious rooms as advertised and raved about from most online. The beds were really lumpy and uncomfortable. I think we were just incredibly unlucky as most chalets have been refurbished and have flat-screen televisions and new furnishings but ours was like a trip back to 1980. Thank God for the lovely setting and the games room and pools were great especially for kids.
Make sure you choose a unit that is up-to-date.

Room Tip: Look at other reviews and choose your chalet carefully. Do not rely on the manager to guide you like...

Had a four day stay here, two days on our own and two days with friends. Two days of perfect weather and two days of rain and wind, nothing to complain about however as we got to view both sides of the coin, blue skies and sea then grey skies and rough sea. The Rendezvous is in a fantastic position and our unit had great views over the harbour and ocean entrance. The unit was fully kitted out and though a bit dated, there was nothing to complain about and the staff were very friendly and helpful. A great place to relax and get away from it, would definately come again.

Room Tip: Probably go for a unit with ocean views.

Well worth the time to travel to this great place - would have stayed longer if we had the time. We visited during bad weather so stayed indoors and didn't get a chance to venture far at this location. Our unit was well placed with brilliant views (when it wasn't raining) and we intend returning during the summer. Unit had a full kitchen which is helpful when you're so far away from town. Found the lighting wasn't good enough for reading books as lightbulb was only 40watt. Didn't realise before we arrived that this property didn't have daily servicing unless you paid for it. They did state they would change towels and remove rubbish but this didn't happen. This didn't bother us as we were okay with our towels and there was a rubbish bin outside our unit. If you have the time and need a place away from the city to relax, then this is the place to go to.

Room Tip: We were in unit 8.

Struck perfect weather in between storms. The views from all angles was magnificent and the private beaches beautiful and secluded. Cosy apartment with facilities that suited us. Beautifully kept grounds and very friendly and helpful reception. Fabulous walks from your doorstep and a private spa to warm up in afterwards. Would love to bring the whole family back in summertime..Loved our stay and very good value for money.

Room Tip: Elevated rooms have wider views

This is a very lovely quiet place for a romantic or whatever stay. We have just retied and needed to wind down before we start our next joinery in life. Lots to see and some lovely places to dine or just a coffee only 5 minutes away. Great private spa area. Very well kept grounds and gardens a credit to the person that does that. Room staff in the morning were respectful of your time and space and the apartment was left in great shape. Can't wait for an excuse to return.
