“The Unwelcome Lamb”
Reviewed January 9, 2014

Any review about Alan and Sandy are defo correct. A very bad landlady who never smiled. Don't expect any smile from her if you were not local, she has a very bad attitude towards customer.
it much better to stop in Cheddar rather than Axbridge!!

“Nice and cosy”
Reviewed December 30, 2013

Popped in for a quick drink on Sunday afternoon after a walk nearby. It was very nice inside but the toilets were a bit run down and needed some attention. The bar tender was a friendly and pleasant young man.

Excellent beer and food here in this lovely pub with loads of character. Very generous portions and good value with many locally sourced ingredients. Has everything a pub should be.

“Cozy Pub”
Reviewed December 7, 2013

A nice village pub with good beer and a cozy atmophere. The food was comptitively priced. We had the house curry and the red snapper Special. Unfortunately the fish was undercooked but the Manager handled this well and we will definitely return.
