“Deserves A Michelin Star”
Reviewed October 18, 2011

Some of the best cuisune I have eaten anywhere in the world, not to mention you can get just about any wine made on this planet and some world class take-out as well. Try the Duck Confit, best I have ever had. Plus the service of Stephan, Stephan, and Stephan is spectacular.

“Best place for lunch in St. Martin if price and time are not an issue”
Reviewed August 16, 2011

This is hands down the best restaurant for lunch in St. Martin. It is not easy to locate since it is in the industrial district of Hope State in Gran Case, opposite to the Gran Case airport.

This restaurant also doubles as one of the best wine distribution places on the island. So not only is fantastic food but also great wines. if you like to smoke cigards they also have a separate coffee and cigar lounge.

Enjoy your meal!

“Food heaven in an unexpected place”
Reviewed July 24, 2011

A rainy day on the island and we were looking for a nice lunch place. A friend recommended bacchus. Upon arrival we were a bit surprised because this place is literally in an industrial zone in between large warehouses and in a non-descript building itself. Inside you find yourself in a modernstyle french wine cellar; nice lighting, a lot of wine racks and good atmosphere. The place was packed, more people had the same idea on a rainy afternoon. It took some time to get our order in, the waiters were clearly overwhelmed and understaffed. Once we did, the waiter was very helpful and knowledgeable suggesting a wine to pair the different dishes.
Now the food; outstanding! French delicacies. Every dish was delicious, but a few truly recommendable: the salad with figs, feta and melon (nice summer fresh) and the duck leg with caramelized apple.
The food is expensive, all in euro so not a favorable exchange for US visitors, but definitely a worthy experience. Also main courses are quite big, so you might consider sharing.

“Out of this World”
Reviewed June 17, 2011

I travel a lot and been to many good eating sports all over the world but have never come across such an amazing dinning experience from the welcome at the door do the cigar lounge with a selection of wines that would make and Sommelier envious, to the cuisine the BEST IN THE WORLD with out a doubt.
Well done Ben on a superb dinning spot.
