I liked this restaurant: very good quality with a choice of starters and main courses. Children’s menu too although better adapted for adults.

This is part of the Sonesta Maho Resort. Its not great. Its not TERRIBLE but its not great. I would have rather ate at the buffet than to have made reservations here. I think the time we reserved may have been a bit on the later side and they were out of pretty much a lot of the things we ordered lol but the staff was really nice!!

This is a resort restaurant that requires a reservation. We arrived on time and were seated. Our waiter came over and took our orders. They give you warm bread with frozen butter. Also while waiting for our salads there was a very loud commotion coming from the entrance area. It appeared to be an very upset employee and most of the staffers had gone over to the area to deal with the situation. When the meal came out our server apologized. I had the prosciutto wrapped chicken. It was very good but it seemed like it was missing something. Kind of on the bland side. I would recommend going there again as to its selections are better than some of the resort foods. I hope that employee straightened out whatever sparked her up!

Had a great time and really enjoyed the food. They gave us great service and much respect. The manager Ambiorix was great and made us feel welcomed every night. He explained that the restaurant has been going through some positive transformations including the menu. Well we loved it.

I am at a loss for words at the good reviews. This was by far the worst meal we had in St. Maarten.

This is part of the all inclusive Sonesta Maho/Ocean Point resort. You do not need reservations so it is first come, first serve. It opens at 6:30 and we arrived at 6:15 to a line of about 20-30 people ahead of us. The hostess does her best seating everyone but the wait is slow, even though it shouldn't be since there were plenty of open tables.

We were seated around 7pm. Our waitress is very spacey; she could not remember what we just said to her 2 seconds ago. She came back to check with us several times even though she wrote things down on her notepad. We were also not give. A bread basket until we asked for it.

The ONLY edible item we had was the spinach cream soup. My son loved it as well and we ended up asking for seconds.

We also ordered calimari (frozen and tasted it), shrimp/mussels over rice, shrimp pappardelle and steak. All of the seafood did not taste fresh and were clearly frozen, which is disappointing given St. Maarten is an island with plenty of seafood. The steak was mediocre as it was cooked medium rare but was a poor quality meat.

We tried all three desserts and none were memorable and one was even quite disgusting (can't even remember what it was called).

Save your time and don't bother waiting for this one.
