“Peaceful”
Reviewed July 27, 2017 for a stay in July 2017

A lovely place to stay, quiet, peaceful and relaxing but close enough to everywhere you'd like to visit. A short drive from the village which has a store where you can get just about everything you might need and three expensive pubs.
Ian was extremely helpful at giving us directions when we got lost on the way there and then left us with a much appreciated welcome pack. We had a lovely weekend there and would go back again.

“Greta time in lovely place”
Reviewed August 9, 2015 for a stay in August 2015

Super place, loads of space and a lovely continental breakfast left for us to help ourselves. Great tips from the owners about walking routes. The route to see the Cerne Abbas Giant is well worth doing. Greta place to tour from.

Lovely owners who were helpful.

This would have to be the most perfect place to stay, with views to die for. There are some wonderful walks on your door step and a number of good pubs in the area. The village shop in Cerne Abbas is amazing, with post office and fantastic bread. My husband Steve and I stayed here for almost two months and the owners Ian and Mel were fantastic....extremely friendly and welcoming. Mel made us two apple cakes while we were there and left a bottle of wine, home made jam and gorgeous eggs (from their hens) for us on arrival. Thank you both, we loved this place and would definitely return again.
