We stopped by this restaurant a little behind our schedule, so unfortuately we didn't have time to dwell there and taste more than the main course. Anyway, before the main course arrived at our table, we were served warm bread, butter and a dip. Normally, I use to find this boring, but both bread and dip were excellent, so we had a god time waiting for our dinner. We ordered bacalao and a lobster pasta dish. Both held high quality and there were plenty of food on both dishes! Highly recommendable, about 10 km south of the ringroad. It's worth the detour!

We received a fantastic personal service with our host being very attentive and filling in some of the many gaps of our knowledge of iceland. The menu offered both European and local cuisine which gave us the chance to experiment with options not readily available back in the UK. The food itself was excellent both in taste and presentation, making for a very enjoyable evening all round. We are pleased to report that we were treated to a great Northern Lights spectacle shortly after leaving (this area is where many people go to see them and our host was extremely knowledgable). Many thanks again for a lovely evening

Arrived at this restaurant quite late following a planned excursion. Wonderful. Started with rich lobster soup that didn't go stingy on the lobster meat, followed by a hefty plate of langoustine and finished off with waffles and ice cream. Peaceful, quiet restaurant with friendly, helpful, welcoming staff- service was excellent.
Really pleased we came here :)

Had a great dinner after driving along the south coast. We had the 3 course meal the night we came. Lobster soup that had huge pieces of lobster. The best we have ever had. Catch of the day was chosen for the main and that was halibut and salmon cooked to perfection and a large portion of it. For the dessert Belgian waffle topped with ice cream. It was superb. Baldor our waiter was wonderful and pleasant. It was somewhat pricey but most in Iceland are. It was worth it.
