I came to Namaste Beach Club through Juan Ballena Tours because it described as a place of peace, tranquility and holistic vibes, but it didn’t turn out to be that.
First to start, there was a private event going on the day of my arrival (wedding) like 50 people who took over a portion of the space, fine, I can understand the place is trying to make a profit out of the premise, however, I think that if you’re going to book a private event, then make it private for the whole day and not book any guests for that day, this place is known for its day passes which are not cheap.
The owner happened to be here while I was here, and I was moved many times because she kept emphasizing the area where I was was a private event, again, I didn’t make any fuzz about it and as a good sport I moved.
However, I believe that if I’m paying for a day pass to the whole premise then I expect access to every single area because that’s what is advertised on their page, otherwise the owner or owners should specify prior to the booking that there might be a private event, matter fact, upon arrival there should of been a sign stating that there was a private event or at least a heads up, instead of moving people around which is not good costumer service.
Having said that, the place is pretty, my wife and I were assigned to a specific area with a mattress and a hammock, ok, great view of the ocean, everything was ok except for that inconvenience of the private party, some of those guests were loud, but I didn’t complained either because I was here to spend a good quality day with my wife.
Would I return? Perhaps, but I would make sure first I call the place and find out that there will be no private events for that day, otherwise what is the point?
About the holistic vibes? Cannot said much, I was moved so many times around that I just went back to my mattress section and remained there like a school kid who’s not allowed to go to the adult area!
