“Hope I didn't catch anything at the water park!!!”
Reviewed August 19, 2013

Two words-dirty and dangerous! Loved the laminated signs attatched to wooden bridge that said VERY slippery when wet. You are in a Water Park!!!!! When is it not Very Slippery? Counted 10 people that wiped out on that death trap. Hey here's an idea get some grip tape or paint and save yourself a lawsuit! Oh right cause I have a bracelet on you accept no responsibility! Water disgusting, no chlorine to be found for miles. Dead frogs, band aids and other refuse floating everywhere. Broken concrete and rundown equipment as far as the eye can see. And a special call out to the lifeguards, must be nice to get paid to do nothing. Will never go again but it should be shut down by next year anyway!

“A Great Place to Visit”
Reviewed August 16, 2013

I had visited the Kenosee Superslides in the past, and this time did not disappoint. I didn't use the actual waterslides, though I have used them in the past. I have noticed that not all the slides are open all the time, but it appeared the major ones were open throughout the day. I used the hot tub and the lazy river throughout the day. The hot tub water was somewhat dirty, however with the number of people going in and out with dirty feet I am not surprised. The lazy river was very nice and relaxing. You can rent a tube to relax on ($5 - which is reasonable in comparison to some other places I've visited). The water is cool, but that was nice when the temperature was 30+ C. The area is large with many areas to set up camp for the day. The change rooms did get dirty towards the end of the day, but I find that happens in outdoor pools similar to change rooms at the beach. The cost was $30 for an adult, and included a locker to put your valuables. There were lifeguards on duty as well. It was a great place to visit while in southeast Saskatchewan. Considering that outdoor pools and waterparks seem to be sparse in Saskatchewan, I would recommend this place for families and people who like waterparks.

“Will NEVER go back!”
Reviewed July 31, 2013

This place was horrible! The slides all need repairs. The bottoms of the pools need repairs. Grass needs to be planted. Sidewalks and bridges are slippery. Free fall and bonsai slides are closed most of the day! Hot tub was filthy! With the expenses they charge for entry and food, you would think they could afford to do repairs and not charge extra money to use a double tube. Could not use single tubes in the lazy river. The water is EXTREMELY COLD!!! Rocks EVERYWHERE that really hurt the feet!! Bathrooms/change rooms were filthy!! Horrible experience and it is no wonder people got sick here not to long ago. Could not even smell chlorine! Even after we left, our hair and skin did not smell of chlorine! We will never ever ever return!!

“Same slides...poorly managed...in great disrepair!!”
Reviewed July 18, 2013

The price didn't bother me at first until I had a look at the park. There seems to be some management issues at Kenossee Superslides. Whomever owns the park needs to spend some of the money they are taking in on repair and maintenance. It seems that since my last visit in 2008 the only work done was repainting of the buildings. Let's begin with the BAD...the "Hot Tub" was disgustingly dirty and was no where near warm. It was like a pool of rainwater and dirt. The lazy river was dirty as well (although not as bad as the hot tub), only half filled, and needed a paint job as the bottom was chipped pretty bad. The red and white sun/rain shade canopies had rips in them and were secured with zip ties (metal support structure needs painting as well..rust). The grounds need refurbishment (simple sod planting) as there were some areas of only dirt or gravel...which is not suitable for bare feet. As for the slides, the Freefall and Bonzai's were closed (probably due to low attendance). The 2 tube slides were probably the best part of the experience and it showed as they were the busiest. The 2 regular slides need work on the seams as my daughter and her scraped shoulder blades can tell you. The lifeguard staff could use a little motivation/extra duties as some were almost asleep. And why was the guy using the weed whipper wearing shorts, sandals and no eye protection. He would throw down the whipper and curse at it while rubbing the sores on his ankles from flying debris. It just seems as though there needs to be full time adult supervision for the teenaged staff. The GOOD...the 2 Tube Slides were fun and like I said well used. The grounds were clean, (there must have been 30 garbage cans). A nice location, close to the campgrounds of Moose Mountain Provincial Park(and just over a 2 hour drive from Regina), with a nice view from the top of the hill.. There seemed to be enough lifeguard staff(though quite bored). All in all the high price ($99 for a family of 3 plus 2 extras) did not equal the value of the experience. Someone...either the owners, the province(Tourism Sask.) or the nearby First Nation Band, needs to get the park in better shape.
