We can thoroughly recommend this as an excellent place to stay. Every consideration is given to detail in the care of guests. My husband is coeliac and his dietary needs were very well catered for. The atmosphere is friendly, excellent food with eggs fresh from their hens. Comfortable beds and everything fresh and clean. Jill and Steve are a very friendly couple, nothing was too much trouble and we greatly enjoyed our stay of four nights.

Room Tip: Rooms at the front have excellent views

Stayed for six nights with my wife and seven year old daughter. The room was very comfortable and well equipped, with ensuite bathroom.

The breakfasts were superb, with a selection of cooked items. Jill and Steve made us very welcome and our daughter particularly enjoyed feeding the hens and collecting eggs in the morning.

We stayed at Livermore Farm for 3 nights. The bedrooms are lovely and the dining room where breakfast was served very welcoming. Breakfast was fantastic with everything freshly cooked, eggs straight from the hens in the garden. Jill and Steve are brillant hosts and nothing was too much trouble. We didn't have transport but there are two pubs serving good food within 10 minutes and bus routes again 10 minutes away. Can't wait to come back.

We stayed at the farm for two nights recently while in Exeter on a training course. Best thing about our stay was the friendly hospitality. We also received good advice about matters local and whilst the welcome was wonderful it was not overbearing - the balance was just right for us. The room and the en-suite bathroom were comfortable and functional- we slept well. And yes the breakfast was great with lots of choice - overall a good experience and should we go to the Exeter area in the future, be it on business or pleasure-we would stay there again.

Room Tip: TAll good but take a bar of soap for the shower!

Ideally located for both countryside & coastly activities. Two pubs within 10-15 mins walk. Nice view from room. Very quiet. Good choice of breakfast, and full english breakfast was very good. Will return and would recommend to others.

We had a relaxing weekend stay in this lovely farmhouse in a peaceful setting. Jill and Steve were very friendly and welcoming and cooked a great breakfast. The room was exceptionally clean and very comfortable with ensuite shower room and we had a superb view from our window overlooking the long drive and paddocks and beautiful countryside. Good base for exploring nearby coastal towns (by car). Will definitely use again when next in area and will recommend.

Livermore Farm has been a "home-away-from-home" on several occasions over the past year whilst I have been on business in Exeter. I have received the same warm welcome and highly professional service each time I have been there. The rooms each have a unique view over the well-kept farm property and are always immaculate. With reliable wifi access, I have been able to work as and when necessary, to pick from a wide selection of television channels, or simply to go for a jog in the beautiful surroundings of the area. Breakfast has been a treat regardless of whether I've opted for fruit and cereal or their legendary cooked breakfast with locally sourced produce.

Livermore Farm is situated near enough to Aylesbeare to walk down the road to the village, but is nestled just far enough from the village to be able to appreciate the tranquility of the area if peace and quiet is what is required. Jill and Steve Smith are well-acquainted with the small details of the area and have often been able to provide really useful tips based on this local knowledge.

I would certainly recommend Livermore Farm as a homely, value-for-money Bed & Breakfast home-away-from-home.

Room Tip: Each room has its own character and charm.
