I stayed with a group of girlfriends doing the three peaks in July. You couldn't wish for nicer, more helpful hosts or plusher accommodation. Everything was gorgeous and immaculate and lots of little extras provided for you. Can't fault these guys or their lovely lovely home one iota.
Bonus points for being 3 min walk from the station, 4/5 min walk to the pub and 6/7 minutes to the cafe where you clock in at the start of the 3 peaks challenge.
Thank you so much.

Room Tip: If your doing the 3 peaks challenge I'd advise to request the room with the bath. All rooms are...

We enjoyed a short three night stay here in mid-September and enjoyed every minute. Booking over the phone a few months prior was easy and followed up with an incredibly detailed email explaining everything you might ever need to know about the place and its local surroundings. Ideally situated at the far end of the village as you come from Settle the place was easy to find, with plenty of off road parking and we were warmly greeted with tea, cakes and a warm fire on arrival.

Being in the area for walking we took advantage of the plentiful breakfast and good value packed lunch option (to be booked beforehand) - which is a real boon in a village with no shops - and some useful recommendations for other activities when the rains came.

The room we had was spacious, always clean and very comfortable with a large en-suite shower room. The bed was comfortable and I had no problems sleeping on the memory foam mattress although others might find this a little softer than they are used to.

The Crown pub is a short walk down the road serving excellent pub food, with alternatives a drive away, and the classic Settle Carlisle route passes through the train station which is a few minutes walk away.

All in all I would have no hesitation in recommending this as a great place to stay.

Room Tip: The Pen-y-ghent room offers a fantastic view of the eponymous hill and being roadside in this small...

We stayed at The Willows in the summer holiday for a night. The hosts were AMAZING plus they were friendly and were warm and bubbly. The rooms were EXCELLENT,they were clean and comfortable. The view was amazing from our bedroom window it was of one of the three peaks .It was the small things like the memory foam bed and the warm welcome and a drink along with a lick from their dog Moss.

We recently stayed two nights at The Willows Bed and Breakfast which is situated near the end of The Ribble Way. It was quite delightful, a beautifully comfortable room , super breakfasts served by friiendly and helpful and knowledgeable hosts. - plus, a good pub down the road for evening meals - what more could you ask for.
It comes highly recommended for anyone walking in the area.

Room Tip: We occupied the double room at the front of the house which had a stunning view across to Pen-y-Ghen...

We stayed at The Willows for 2 nights in August 2012, walked the 3Peaks. this B&B was friendly, comfortable and spotlessly clean with more than helpful hosts. the rooms were modern and the cooked breakfasts were to die for. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone.

Stayed at The Willows for a couple of nights in August 2012, doing the Y3P.
Excellent B&B, friendly and helpful hosts, nice room and excellent breakfasts. What more do you need? I would definitely stay here again.

Without doubt the nicest B and B I have ever stayed in. Jo and Steve are fountains of knowledge about the local area and the route for the three peaks walk. Their welcome and hospitality are second to none and the breakfasts were delicious. We stayed in the Whernside room which is a twin room with separate own bathroom with under floor heating, huge bath and lovely power shower, complete with a beautiful selection of luxurious and expensive shower/bath gels, lotions and potions, all of which are there for you to use. After the three peaks walk it was exactly what we needed. The B and B is only a short walk from the Pen Y Ghent cafe where the three peaks walk starts and ends, and it's at the right end of the village for the recommended Crown pub where you can get a lovely home cooked meal the evening before and/or after the walk.
I simply can't praise this B and B enough. Steve and Jo obviously care so much about the comfort of their guests and it shows in everything they do for you and in all of the little things that you keep noticing throughout your stay that make the accommodation so welcoming and extra comfortable. If we were to return to the village and needed accommodation we wouldn't consider staying anywhere else and if The Willows was full we'd rearrange our trip dates around it so that we didn't have to stay anywhere else. Absolutely perfect. Thank you Steve and Jo x
